10Anastasia Escaping The Bolsheviks
At some point during the Bolshevik revolution, assassins herded Czar Nicholas II and his family into a cellar where they proceeded to shoot all of them. A few years later, a woman who called herself Anna Anderson came forward claiming to be the Czar’s younger daughter Anastasia who apparently managed to escape execution. The mystery got only deepened when in 1991, a team of archaeologists found out that the mass grave containing the Romanovs and their servants were missing the bodies of a male and female child.
