Interestingly enough, Transgenic Eucalyptus is an artificially developed plant, resulted from splicing brassica genes with eucalyptus genes, thus creating a truly unique plant. As a result, Thransgenic Eucalyptus grows about 30% faster than any species of natural eucalyptus, capable of growing more than 16 feet every year. Therefore, some Transgenic Eucalyptus trees can reach heights of 100 feet in just 4-5 years.
