The fourth studio album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin was released on November 8, 1971, via Atlantic Records. Produced by Jimmy Page, this album was recorded at several locations between December 1970 and March 1971 and it received lukewarm reviews from critics. As soon as it was released, the album became an immediate commercial and critical success, selling more than 37 million copies throughout the world.
