Sumatra, Indonesia was unlucky to be hit by another earthquake in 2005. The 8.6 magnitude earthquake the hit the island on March 28th 2005 caused a Tsunami that killed 1,313 people and injured 400 others. The Tsunami traveled as far as Sri Lanka. The region is one of the most earthquake prone locations in the world with three of the 15 worst earthquakes having happened in the area.
