9Boulders Beach, Cape Town
More than three thousand African penguins live on this beach on a permanent basis, making it one of the most entertaining tourist attractions in the world. These cute residents of Boulders Beach are sheltered from the predators and waves by the many boulders in the water near the shore. Boulders Beach is one of the best places to admire African penguins in all their beauty, although tourists are advised to stay away from the creatures as much as possible as to not scare them and to not get themselves hurt by the penguins who have a pretty nasty bite.
