8Shugborough Hall Inscription
Based on a painting by Nicholas Poussin, this particular monument carries a relief displaying a woman watching three shepherds pointing at a tomb. On that tomb, the Latin text ‘Et in arcadia ego’ is written, meaning ‘I am also in Arcadia’. Bellow this, we find the letters ‘D O.U.O.S.V.A.V.V. M’ which are supposed to provide coordinates to some sort of secret. According to conspiracy theorists, Poussin was a member of the Priory of Sion and that he encrypted the code to point at the location of the Holy Grail.
